Vision

Concept, creativity, capture and final conception.

These are the essential components that an artist should strive to use when creating an image. Of course, producing art doesn't always go as planned. An artist should always strive to develop their skills and craft, so they are better able to adapt when obstacles or opportunities occur, wether they be mental, physical or forces of nature.
By mastering core skills and experiences, an artist should have the foundation to create images they visualize in their mind's eye. My image Wind Power was not a planned image. I was working on a project trying to capture the style of Film Noir films, when on the way to a locaton in Desert Springs, I saw the windmills and the desert landscape. I felt, I had to create an image with the lead character using that location in the background. As a result of this impromptu idea, I created this photo and it has been shown at galleries in the U.S. and Europe as well as being featured in B &W magazine.
